Sponsorship

For 25 years, IBDW has been the world's premier biennial gathering on breast density and cancer risk assessment. Our partners help make the science possible.

A focused audience of decision-makers, in one room

IBDW convenes a small, high-signal audience: principal investigators behind the field's leading risk-prediction studies, breast radiologists at major academic centers, federal program leaders at the NCI and FDA, AI and imaging companies, patient advocates, and the next generation of trainees. There's no parallel programming and no exhibit hall noise — every attendee hears every talk, and meaningful conversations happen across three days of meals, posters, and shared schedule.

What partnership looks like

  • Direct access. Three days of meals, breaks, and poster sessions with researchers, clinicians, and program officers — the people whose work shapes screening guidelines, regulatory pathways, and the next round of grant funding.
  • Visibility where it counts. Logo placement on the program book, on-site signage, the workshop website, and our pre-event mailing-list announcements. Diamond and Gold sponsors are featured in opening remarks.
  • Mission alignment. IBDW is hosted by the University of Hawaiʻi Cancer Center — the only NCI-designated cancer center in Hawaiʻi and the Pacific — with a sustained focus on health equity for AANHPI populations historically underrepresented in screening research.
  • Continuity. Our partners include the American Cancer Society, Sutter Health / California Pacific Medical Center, Volpara Health, iCAD, ScreenPoint Medical, and others — many returning across multiple workshops.

Named-event & travel-award opportunities

Beyond the core tiers, we offer named sponsorships for breakfasts, lunches, the welcome reception, and the closing networking event — high-visibility moments where your organization is acknowledged from the podium and on signage. Travel awards directly fund attendance for trainees and early-career investigators who otherwise couldn't make the trip — historically funded by Friends of the UH Cancer Center and partner organizations. These are some of the most impact-per-dollar sponsorships we offer.

Ready to partner with us?

We'll send the 2027 prospectus with current tier pricing, named-event availability, and a tailored proposal for your organization. Conversations welcome — most of our long-running partnerships started with a quick email.
